The Division 2 beta UPDATE: New missions and end-game content join the game

Division 2 Private beta is entering a brand new phase tonight, as Ubisoft is adding PS4 and Xbox One end-game content. The Division 2 players can check out an end-game mission from 5 pm UK time onwards. And it's not just an end-game mission, it's also experimenting with three different specializations.

"We are excited to announce that a portion of the end game of Division 2 will also be featured in the private beta!" reads a Ubisoft post.

After completing the Jefferson Trade Center for the first time, you will have access to an end-game mission that will unlock on your account three characters at level 30. The final game mission will begin when you log in with one of these characters.

"Each character has a different specialization, so don't hesitate to find your favorite! Please note that this end game mission will be available from February 8 at 5 pm CET."

Division 2 private beta is available on PS4, Xbox One and PC and has an end date of February 11. It's a pretty hefty download, depending on the platform, weighing between 42 GB and 50 GB. If you're a fan of the original division and want a privately owned beta code, there are two ways to do it.

Pre-ordering the game for Xbox One, PS4 or PC is the only guaranteed way. If you order the digital game online, you automatically have access to the beta without the need to redeem a key. If the beta does not appear in your library, Ubisoft recommends that you search it from the online store of the platform.

If you ordered the game in retail, you should have a code that can be redeemed on the pre - order website. "You will receive an email from Division 2 containing your key to access Private Beta Division 2," explains Ubisoft.

"On the console, you can redeem this key in the Xbox Store or PlayStation Store. On the PC, the Private Beta will be displayed in the "My Games" tab of the Uplay PC client.
